## Job description

### ABOUT THE ROLE

Join a small engineering team building AI-powered operations software for private markets. You will own core backend infrastructure that supports reliable, secure workflows across hosted and self-hosted deployments.

### WHAT YOU'LL DO

- Build and maintain backend systems for permissions, auditability, traceability, and observability.

- Manage deployment architectures for hosted and self-hosted environments using infrastructure-as-code tools.

- Improve the reliability, performance, and security of production services.

- Partner with product teams to deliver features while maintaining high quality standards.

- Apply AI-native development practices to support rapid, high-quality releases.

### WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

- 1 to 6 years of professional backend development experience.

- Production experience building services with TypeScript and NestJS.

- Production experience with PostgreSQL and Prisma.

- Experience managing deployments with infrastructure-as-code tools such as Terraform or Pulumi.

- Practical experience improving production reliability, security, performance, observability, or auditability.

- Practical experience with AI, machine learning, LLMs, or AI-native systems.

### COMPENSATION & BENEFITS

Base salary range: €70,000 to €110,000 annually. Visa sponsorship is available.

### LOCATION

On-site in Berlin, Germany.
