## Job description

### ABOUT THE ROLE

Join a small engineering team building AI-native infrastructure for private market operations. You will own core backend systems that support reliable, secure, and traceable financial workflows across hosted and self-hosted deployments.

### WHAT YOU'LL DO

- Build and maintain backend infrastructure for permissions, auditability, traceability, and observability.

- Manage deployment architectures for hosted and self-hosted environments using infrastructure-as-code tools.

- Improve the reliability, performance, and security of production systems.

- Partner with product teams to deliver features while maintaining high quality standards.

- Use AI-native development practices to support rapid, high-quality releases.

### WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

- One to six years of professional backend development experience.

- Production experience building services with TypeScript and NestJS.

- Production experience with PostgreSQL and Prisma.

- Experience managing deployments with infrastructure-as-code tools such as Terraform or Pulumi.

- Experience improving reliability, security, performance, observability, or auditability in production.

- Practical experience with AI, machine learning, large language models, or AI-native systems.

### COMPENSATION & BENEFITS

Base salary: €70,000 to €110,000 annually. Visa sponsorship is available.

### LOCATION

On-site in Berlin, Germany.
