## Job description

We’re looking for Backend Engineers to join Split Pay, a freshly funded Series B fintech providing split rental and mortgage payments for the US market. Backed by leading VC funds, with a founding team boasting experience at Cash App, Dropbox, Square, Amazon and Apple, Splitpay is going through extensive growth and is expanding the engineering team.

### You will

- Work on our core backend systems, collaborate with ML, Mobile and Web teams.

- Support and add new features, we just introduced car loan payments and many others are coming soon.

### Requirements

- 4+ years of backend development experience (while we use Python, prior experience in any language will do).

- Conversational English.

- Relocation to Lisbon, Portugal is required. During the work permit acquiring process we offer remote work.

### Stack

- Python, Django, AWS. We are open to any prior backend experience.

### We offer

- Up to €140k/year salary + equity; higher figures can be negotiated.

- Official employment, visa and relocation help, insurance, corp. laptop, etc.

**Live in NPV’s hiring system.** Read from the company's own applicant tracking system, not reposted from a job board — so it's a real, open requisition rather than an ad that outlived the role.

We remove it as soon as it disappears at source.
