Best Workplace awardee. ### WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR Semperis looking for an experienced Director of Platform Engineering to join the Engineering Leadership team. This is a global role based in Israel. ### POSITION OVERVIEW Lead our global platform and DevOps team responsible for all product infrastructure across SaaS and on-premises solutions. Drive the development of new SaaS offerings from scratch while scaling to support large customer bases under strict security requirements. ### KEY RESPONSIBILITIES - Define and execute platform and DevOps strategy aligned with business objectives - Build, mentor, and scale a high-performing global team of engineers - Architect scalable platform solutions meeting enterprise security requirements - Optimize developer experience through modern tooling and automation - Balance strategic initiatives with operational commitments - Facilitate cross-functional collaboration and technical discussions - Ensure platform reliability, performance, and security across all products ### REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS ### Experience: - 8+ years in platform engineering roles - 4+ years leading distributed technical teams - Proven track record building and scaling SaaS products from ground up - Experience with large-scale installations under enterprise security requirements - Fluent English and Hebrew. Experience leading multi lingual and global teams ### Technical Skills: - Expert in cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and hybrid architectures - Proficient with Kubernetes, Docker, Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Ansible) - Strong knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, monitoring, and observability platforms - Deep understanding of security best practices and compliance frameworks - Experience with C# development is an advantage. ### Leadership: - Exceptional communication and collaboration skills - Strategic thinking with ability to execute plans - Experience mentoring teams and facilitating technical discussions - Track record of successful change management ### ADDITIONAL: - Advanced degree in Computer Science or Engineering - Cloud platform certifications - Experience in regulated industries - International team management experience #LI-TI1 Why Join Semperis?
