Through advanced execution and pricing technologies, we improve how financial markets operate. ### OVERVIEW As a global firm with trading strategies that operate worldwide, we want to create and maintain a globally consistent platform, removing as much work as possible from our trading and development teams when building, developing and running their applications. We are looking for an experienced technical operations specialist, DevOps engineer, or Platform Engineer to join a small existing team and help shape this vision. The individual will have operational responsibility for several production trading and research environments and will need to understand how our systems work throughout the trading lifecycle, from the front to the back office. The role will require close collaboration with traders, developers, quant researchers, data engineers, and infrastructure teams to ensure our production systems are well-understood and properly configured. The individual will also be expected to advocate for operational efficiency and continuous improvement across all deployment aspects, as well as troubleshooting, monitoring, automation, and resiliency. We are just at the beginning of an exciting transformation project to consolidate and standardise how we run and research our applications inside Maven, and the individual will have the opportunity to shape the future of this platform The role is based in London, but the team will be globally distributed. Communication skills, a pragmatic approach to problem-solving under time pressure, and a positive mindset are essential for success in this role. Candidates will likely have at least 2+ years of experience in a similar position.
