Monocle is entering an important new phase in the development of its digital experience. This is an exciting opportunity for a Product Manager to help shape what comes next and make a tangible difference for our readers, listeners, subscribers and customers around the world.

This is an opportunity to make a significant contribution to the development of Monocle’s digital products at an important stage in their evolution, working across several areas of the business and helping us to build stronger product processes and capabilities for the future.

### About the role

In addition to Monocle’s editorial work, our digital ecosystem includes subscription account management, a radio station and an e-commerce platform. As part of the digital team, the Product Manager is responsible for ensuring that we have a clear roadmap, our stakeholders and agency partners are engaged and informed, and the digital team and its external partners are up to speed with feature development, fixes and automation.

### Responsibilities will include:

### Product strategy

- Work with the Head of Digital to help define and communicate the product strategy for Monocle’s digital ecosystem and how it supports our global media brand
- Collaborate with our agency partners and internal teams to build exceptional products
- Use data-driven insights to inform strategic decisions and guide product development
- Manage stakeholder expectations across our diverse international operation
- Prioritise initiatives that drive the highest-value outcomes for both users and the business

### Cross-functional collaboration

- Act as the bridge between technical and non-technical colleagues, translating complex concepts
- Facilitate collaboration through regular team co-ordination and clear communication, building trust and credibility

### The successful candidate will demonstrate:

- Between three and five years of product management experience, ideally in a publishing, subscriptions and/or e-commerce environment
- Experience working within agile methodology
- A keen interest in the Monocle brand and its digital potential
- Experience aligning cross-functional teams while juggling the competing priorities of multiple stakeholders
- Previous success in rapidly building trust and credibility at all levels of a business
- Ability to own product requirement discovery and alignment
- A suite of tools and methods at your disposal to work efficiently throughout the product lifecycle
- Experience working with external engineering teams and agency partners is desirable but not essential

### The details

This is a full-time position based at Midori House, Marylebone. Our working hours are 09.30 to 18.30 and the role is based in the office five days a week. Some travel might be required depending on the needs of individual projects. Benefits include discounts at The Monocle Shop and Café, breakfast five days a week, health and life insurance, 23 days of annual leave, a seven-day Christmas shutdown and eight bank holidays, as well as a dog-friendly office.
