Israel Sales Manager – Defense Sector

A leading defense technology company is seeking an experienced and results-driven Israel Sales Manager to lead and expand its business activities in the Israeli defense market.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive sales growth and business development activities across the Israeli defense ecosystem.
  • Develop and execute sales strategies to identify, pursue, and secure new business opportunities with defense organizations, government entities, and prime contractors.
  • Manage the full sales cycle, from opportunity identification and relationship building through proposal development, negotiation, and contract award.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers, procurement teams, program managers, and industry stakeholders.
  • Manage and expand relationships with distributors, channel partners, and strategic partners while ensuring alignment with business objectives.
  • Develop existing accounts and identify opportunities for upselling, cross-selling, and long-term growth.
  • Work closely with internal teams including engineering, product management, program management, and legal to deliver customer-focused solutions.
  • Represent the company at industry events, conferences, exhibitions, and customer meetings.
  • Maintain accurate sales forecasts, pipeline management, and market intelligence.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Economics, or a related field.
  • Proven track record of success in sales and business development within the Israeli defense market.
  • Extensive experience selling to defense organizations, government agencies, and/or major defense contractors in Israel.
  • Strong network and established relationships within the Israeli defense ecosystem.
  • Experience working with distributors, channel partners, and direct sales models.
  • Demonstrated ability to operate as both a Hunter (new business acquisition) and Farmer (account development and growth).
  • Experience managing complex, long-cycle sales processes and high-value deals.
  • Strong commercial, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Fluent Hebrew and English.

Preferred:

  • Experience in defense technologies, homeland security, aerospace, C4I, cyber, ISR, EW, unmanned systems, or related sectors.
  • Background working with leading Israeli defense organizations and prime contractors.
