This is a data-heavy environment where performance, accuracy, and reliability are paramount.</p><p>Our engineering culture emphasizes responsibility, transparency, and continuous improvement. Responsibilities</strong></span></h5><ul><li><p>Test Automation: Design, develop, and maintain scalable test automation frameworks and test suites in Python for backend services and data pipelines.</p></li><li><p>Backend & Data Testing: Perform comprehensive functional, integration, and performance testing of backend services, APIs, and data feeds.</p></li><li><p>Release Management: Plan, coordinate, and execute production releases, ensuring zero-downtime and high quality.</p></li><li><p>Process Optimization: Identify bottlenecks in the software development lifecycle (SDLC) and improve QA processes by automating routine tasks and integrating tests into the CI/CD pipeline.</p></li><li><p>Root Cause Analysis: Analyze application logs, system metrics, and data anomalies to troubleshoot, isolate, and diagnose complex issues.</p></li><li><p>Collaboration & Documentation: Work closely with developers, product managers, and data engineers to clarify
Requirements, refine user stories, and track issues in Jira/Confluence.</p></li><li><p>Data Research: Assist the team in researching complex data discrepancies and data quality issues.</p></li></ul><h5><span><strong>What makes you the perfect fit</strong></span></h5><ul><li><p>Senior-level QA Expertise: 5+ years of experience in QA with a strong focus on backend testing, test design techniques, and implementing Left-Shift testing methodologies.</p></li><li><p>Python Proficiency: Strong programming
Skills in Python with solid experience in test automation frameworks (e.g., PyTest).</p></li><li><p>Data & SQL: Strong knowledge of SQL and experience validating data integrity and processing across databases.</p></li><li><p>API Testing: Proficient in testing REST/gRPC APIs using automation tools as well as hands-on tools like curl and Postman.</p></li><li><p>Linux & Infrastructure: Comfortable with Linux/Unix environments, command-line tools, and basic shell scripting.</p></li><li><p>Observability: Experience working with application logs and monitoring/metrics tools (e.g., Grafana, Prometheus, Zabbix, ELK) to diagnose system behavior.</p></li><li><p>AI Tooling: Experience leveraging AI assistants (e.g., GitHub Copilot, ChatGPT) to accelerate test generation and code analysis.</p></li><li><p>Soft
