For more information, visit covenant.com ### THE ROLE As a People & Talent Partner, you will be a key member of the team launching and scaling Covenant's Leipzig, Germany manufacturing facility. This role combines recruiting, HR, and employee support, with a strong focus on building and retaining the workforce required to operate a high-rate production environment. You will own recruiting for the site, manage relationships with staffing and recruiting firms, support onboarding and employee development, and serve as a trusted partner to managers and employees on day-to-day HR matters. This is a hands-on role for someone who enjoys being close to the operation, solving problems quickly, and building the people infrastructure needed to support a rapidly growing manufacturing organization. ### WHAT YOU'LL DO - Own recruiting for hourly and salaried positions across the Leipzig manufacturing facility. - Develop and execute hiring plans in partnership with site leadership and functional managers. - Manage external staffing and recruiting firms, including performance, priorities, contracts, and recruiting pipelines. - Build talent pipelines for production, manufacturing, quality, supply chain, and other site functions. - Lead candidate screening, interview coordination, offer processes, and pre-employment activities. - Own the onboarding experience and ensure new employees are prepared to be successful from day one. - Partner with managers on employee performance, attendance, engagement, retention, and workforce planning. - Serve as a trusted point of contact for employees and help resolve day-to-day workplace issues. - Support employee relations matters, investigations, and performance management in partnership with HR leadership. - Ensure site HR practices comply with applicable federal, state, and local employment laws and company policies. - Maintain accurate employee records and support HRIS administration, reporting, and compliance requirements. - Partner with payroll and benefits teams to support employee questions and resolve issues. - Track recruiting and workforce metrics including headcount, hiring velocity, turnover, retention, and staffing needs. - Identify opportunities to improve recruiting, onboarding, and employee experience as the organization scales. - Partner with site leadership to build a strong culture of accountability, ownership, and operational excellence. - Support training, workforce development, and employee engagement initiatives. - Help establish scalable HR processes and infrastructure as Covenant's manufacturing operations grow. ### REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS - Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field. - 5+ years of experience in recruiting, HR, or a combination of both. - Experience supporting a manufacturing, production, warehouse, industrial, or other operational workforce. - Proven experience recruiting hourly employees at scale. - Experience managing staffing agencies, recruiting firms, or other external talent partners. - Working knowledge of HR practices, employee relations, onboarding, and employment compliance. - Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build trust across all levels of an organization. - Highly organized with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities. - Comfortable working onsite and spending significant time on the manufacturing floor. - Ability to operate independently in a fast-paced, rapidly changing environment. - U.S. Person status required. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS - Experience as an HR Business Partner, HR Generalist, People Partner, Recruiter, or Talent Acquisition Partner in a manufacturing environment. - Experience supporting the launch or rapid growth of a new manufacturing facility. - Experience with high-volume hourly recruiting and workforce planning. - Experience working in defense, aerospace, automotive, robotics, or other highly regulated manufacturing environments. - Experience with HRIS and ATS platforms. - Familiarity with Texas and federal employment regulations. - SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, or similar certification. - Experience building HR processes and infrastructure in a startup or high-growth company. **Live in Covenantindustries’s hiring system.** Read from the company's own applicant tracking system, not reposted from a job board — so it's a real, open requisition rather than an ad that outlived the role.
