### Senior Technical Delivery Manager – Data & AI (Databricks)

### About the Role

Matrix Global Services is seeking a Senior Technical Delivery Manager – Data & AI to lead the delivery of a strategic Databricks-based data and AI program.

This is a high-impact leadership role responsible for managing the successful delivery of enterprise data engineering, advanced analytics, and AI/ML initiatives, including demand forecasting and anomaly detection solutions. The successful candidate will serve as the primary delivery lead, working closely with client executives while managing Matrix's global delivery teams across onshore and offshore locations.

This position requires an experienced consulting leader who combines strong technical expertise in modern data platforms with exceptional project management, stakeholder engagement, and people leadership skills.

### Key Responsibilities

### Technical Delivery Leadership

- Lead the end-to-end delivery of Databricks-based data engineering, analytics, and AI/ML solutions.

- Ensure solutions meet quality, scalability, performance, and security standards.

- Translate business requirements into executable technical delivery plans.

- Collaborate with architects and engineering teams to resolve technical challenges and drive platform improvements.

- Oversee release planning, go-live activities, hypercare, and production stabilization.

- Drive best practices across Databricks, Lakehouse architecture, Delta Lake, Unity Catalog, and modern data engineering.

### Program & Project Management

- Manage the complete project lifecycle using Matrix's delivery methodology.

- Own project planning, resource management, budgets, risks, scope, and delivery milestones.

- Maintain delivery roadmaps, RAID logs, project status reporting, and executive dashboards.

- Coordinate Statements of Work (SOW), purchase orders, change requests, and governance activities.

- Lead steering committee meetings, executive reviews, and client workshops.

### Client Relationship Management

- Act as the primary delivery contact for stakeholders across Singapore and global markets.

- Build trusted relationships with business leaders, product owners, and IT executives.

- Manage stakeholder expectations through proactive communication and issue resolution.

- Identify opportunities to expand Matrix's footprint and support account growth initiatives.

### Governance & Quality

- Establish and maintain delivery governance, risk management, and change control processes.

- Ensure compliance with client security, data governance, and regulatory requirements.

- Monitor delivery KPIs, SLAs, and quality metrics while driving continuous improvement.

- Maintain delivery documentation, knowledge transfer materials, and operational playbooks.

### Team Leadership

- Lead and mentor distributed teams of data engineers, analytics professionals, QA engineers, and solution architects.

- Drive resource planning, performance management, coaching, and career development.

- Foster a collaborative, high-performing culture across global delivery teams.

- Champion technical excellence and continuous learning across the practice.

### Required Qualifications

- 8+ years of experience leading enterprise Data, Analytics, or AI/ML delivery programs.

- Strong experience delivering solutions on the Databricks platform, including:

- Lakehouse Architecture

- Delta Lake

- Unity Catalog

- Databricks Workflows

- Proven experience managing enterprise consulting engagements in hybrid onshore/offshore delivery models.

- Demonstrated success managing project scope, budgets, timelines, risks, and executive stakeholders.

- Experience with Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid delivery methodologies.

- Strong client-facing communication and presentation skills.

- Experience leading multidisciplinary technical teams.

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related discipline.

- Willingness to work from Singapore and travel regionally as required.

### Preferred Qualifications

- Experience delivering solutions for CPG, Retail, or FMCG organizations.

- Knowledge of supply chain, demand planning, forecasting, or commercial analytics.

- Familiarity with AI/ML use cases such as demand forecasting, anomaly detection, and predictive analytics.

- Experience with Dataiku or similar data science platforms.

- PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent project management certification.

- Experience managing consulting engagements across APAC or Southeast Asia.

### Within the first six months, you will:

- Establish strong executive relationships with key client stakeholders.

- Build a high-performing global delivery team with clear governance and accountability.

- Successfully deliver a major Databricks-based release, including production deployment and hypercare.

- Establish scalable delivery processes that improve quality, predictability, and client satisfaction while positioning Matrix for future growth within the account.
